Frames of 2014: Weddings // Tacoma Wedding Photographer

Wow.  I don’t even know how to go about starting this post.  This past year has been amazing beyond words.  I had a goal of shooting 20 weddings in 2014.  I ended up shooting 22 weddings, second shooting 3 weddings, doing 5 styled shoots and 60 portrait/family type shoots.  I am so overwhelmed.  It has taken me so long to go through and narrow down favorite photos as I have so so so so many and I wanted to include every single one of my wedding clients in this blog.  Thank you, thank you, thank you to all my clients, family and friends who have supported me this past year.  I cannot wait to see what 2015 will bring.

And to start off this blog, I want to start with one of the last wedding images I took in 2014.  This past year I wanted to learn more and be completely comfortable with off camera lighting and I am absolutely in love with how this image turned out.  It also represents one of my large goals for next year: to seek out dark.  Its so easy to shoot in beautiful light and sun beaming through your images, but shadows, contrast and dark can be just as amazing.  So this year my goal is to seek out the dark and the shadows and see what I can do with it!
