Summer Thornewood Castle Wedding | Beth + Dave | Tacoma Wedding Photographer

Beth and Dave had such an elegant Summer Thornewood Castle Wedding on American Lake in Tacoma, Washington.  I absolutely adored getting to know these two and their amazing story.  Beth is originally from England and so I had a blast getting to chat with her (my Mum is from England) and learn that she wanted to get married at Thornewood Castle because the bricks are from her hometown of Wales. We had the honor of sending one of our associate photographers to Denver to document their engagement session which you can see here.  Their day was simply flawless with gorgeous weather for their outdoor ceremony amongst the gardens which is when Dave and Beth first saw one another traditionally up the aisle.  After their ceremony the guests enjoyed cocktail hour on the patio while formal photos were taken and then the couple got to enjoy some time mingling for the second half of cocktails.  I always encourage my couples to mingle during cocktail hour if possible to make the most of your time visiting with your guests and to ensure candids.  Then we moved inside for dinner and the most hilarious toasts!  Their close friend was their MC who shared numerous stories and entertainment for the guests.  The rest of the evening was enjoyed listening to their live band, mingling and enjoying their delicious cake.
