Center for Urban Horticulture Wedding // Adriane and Theodore
Adriane and Ted had a stunning Center for Urban Horticulture Wedding located in Seattle, Washington. Their day began with some quick getting ready photos at their ceremony venue, St. Joseph Catholic Church in Seattle followed by their first look and some couple portraits. Why do a first look? Well first looks are great to get to see one another before the ceremony and have more time for portraits. For these two it was a great opportunity to get images at both their ceremony venue and then more portraits at their reception venue later in the day! After their couple portraits we did wedding party and family photos before we were off to their beautiful ceremony! They had a traditional catholic ceremony and it was full of laughs, meaning and wonderful instruction. Then we were off to the Center for Urban Horticulture for their wedding reception. They had cocktail hour awaiting their guests in the upper part of the venue followed by their reception down in the lawn amongst some gorgeous trees. They had two long tables for dinner for their guests and entertained them with some wonderful toasts. Then everyone migrated up to the greenhouse for dancing and a dessert bar.
Ted and Adriane met on Match.com of all places. He was Adriane’s second online date ever! And according to him, he had been on “hundreds” of online dates before meeting her. For their first date, they met at a park, and had so much fun talking that Ted knew he had to secure a second date before saying goodbye. He wanted us to go to a terrarium making class together (something he had wanted to do for a long time). However, their schedules didn’t work out for that class and they signed up for a soap making class instead. He struggled making soap so badly and it was beyond adorable! And so because of this they made soap as favors at their wedding for all their guests! For our third date, she surprised him with supplies for us to make our own terrariums! It was at that point that he knew she was the one!
