Hidden Meadows Wedding // Amber & Kee

I absolutely adored getting to document Amber and Kee’s Hidden Meadows wedding last month!  Their day was filled with so many beautiful moments and perfect touches.  We started off with details and getting ready photos and Amber told me the story of this beautiful wood box that Kee had given her a long time ago that she wasn’t to open.  And when he went to propose to her he had brought that box with them to Hawaii and inside was the proposal!  How adorable is that?!  Amber surprised him by having it engraved for their wedding.  These two are SO fun to photograph with so many laughs and giggles.  These two are beyond perfect for one another and it is so fun to watch them interact.  The rest of their day was filled with enjoying time with family and friends, good food, some amazing first dances and epic sunset photos.  We had a slightly smog filled day that gave us an some epic skies at the end of the evening.

From the Bride on how they met: 
Kee and I met in College at Western Washington University the day that he moved from Bellingham down to Seattle. I was at his house studying for a final exam with his roommate and he had made the decision to pursue his passion of photography and transfer from Western to the Art Institute of Seattle. We instantly starting talking everyday and our connection grew. We started our relationship long distance, with me finishing my degree at WWU and Kee starting his at the Art Institute. This lasted over 2 and a half year until I graduated and joined Kee down in Seattle. We moved in together and got to finally be together in the same city. Come to find out Kee was from the same small town I was growing up and not only that we went to elementary school together for four years without even knowing before Kee’s family relocated to Gig Harbor. We have been together now for 3 and a half years and live and work in the Seattle area. We love going exploring together and just being outside. But not in the hiking and backpacking type of sort. We love going for walks around Seattle neighborhoods and exploring new places. We both love the water and the Puget sound views. We have spent a lot of our free time eating out at some of our favorite restaurants or exploring new parks the city has tucked away.
