What an absolutely epic Mount Rainier National Park Engagement session with Julianne and David and their Westfalia Vanagon! We caravanned up to Tipsoo Lake on the Sunrise side of Mount Rainier National Park for their engagement photos and started off their session with some adorable lifestyle photos of them with their Vanagon with an epic view of the mountain behind them. I love that they wanted to feature this family heirloom in their engagement photos. They also plan to have the van present at their wedding as a photobooth or some sort of fun feature.

After that we slowly walked the loop around Tipsoo lake and had the chance to document these two and their adorable personalities together. Then it was time for an outfit change and photos on the ledge just in time for the most perfect sunset drifting off behind Mount Rainier. I had so much fun getting to know these two, wander around the lake and document this fun time in their lives! I cannot wait for their upcoming wedding.

Tipsoo Lake, at an elevation of 5,298 feet above sea level, is an alpine lake within the Northern Cascade Range near the summit of Chinook Pass in Pierce County, Washington. Tipsoo Lake Loop at Mount Rainier National Park is a 0.8 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Ashford, Washington that features a lake and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, and nature trips.
