We are hiring!

As Rebecca Anne Photography has grown over the past 15 years and now has a team of three associate photographers (with previous years of up to 7 associate photographers)!  We are once again looking to expand with our growing business by bringing on another associate. We are specifically looking for LEAD PHOTOGRAPHERS, who may also act as second photographers to Rebecca Anne and our other seasoned associates.  Ideally, these photographers have experienced at least 10+ weddings as a lead photographer. Strong preference given to experienced wedding photographers with 20+ weddings. Photographers with primarily seasoned photographer experience may be considered, depending on the quality of work.

We are looking for second photographers as well who either are interested in working their way up to a lead first shooter or just remaining as as a second. We also want an editor or proofer to finalize galleries for us during busy season!

We are hoping to have these photographers second shoot with Rebecca Anne during the 2023 season and start booking them as lead photographers in 2024.

What does being an associate photographer look like?!

DOES THAT SOUND LIKE YOU?

ME:
I take care of the business side of things.  I manage lead inquiries, client communication, questionnaires, invoice, billing, contracts...etc.
I cull, edit and deliver all of the images.
You get paid a flat hourly rate based on the number of hours of shooting time.
You get to work with and learn from Rebecca Anne Photography.

YOU:
You LOVE weddings and storytelling through imagery
You have photographed at least 10+ weddings on your own
You have a warm, charismatic personality and are customer service driven
You stay calm in stressful situations
You are well-organized and on-time
You have a portfolio of work that we can see
You have reliable transportation and be willing to travel to weddings within 60 miles of Seattle and Tacoma.
You love to take photos, but you don't want to run the "business side" of things
You have your own professional camera(s) and lenses; bonus if you have your own off-camera flash equipment!
You understand that almost all weddings take place on Saturdays (or other weekend days) and that almost all weddings in Washington take place between the months of May and October.
You must be able to operate as a independent contractor.
You must be available to second shoot weddings during wedding season of 2021 and begin first shooting weddings in 2022.

We're looking to hire photographers who are very out-going, friendly and kind to represent the Rebecca Anne Photography brand well.  Of course, experience and personality is huge, and would be given preference. If that sounds like you or you know of someone, please fill out the form below.

FAQ

No problem!  We can buy it for you and you can rent it from us until you can save up to purchase it yourself!

What if I do not have all the gear you need me to have?

If you want to, yes!  We offer a “buy back” program where you can purchase back the images you took for us and use them in your portfolio.  You can do this on a case by case basis if there are specific weddings you want to use for your portfolio.

Do I get to keep the images I take at Rebecca Anne Photography weddings?

Yes!  We want to keep the same photographer assigned to the client for both their engagement session and their wedding!

Occasionally a client asks to meet the associate photographer in the consultation phase in which case we would ask you to join in on a virtual call for a portion of the consultation to tell them more about yourself!

We start our pay at $100/hour for shooting time, $50/hour for other tasks and also accommodate for travel beyond 60 miles each way at $1/mile.  We also provide camera cards and hard drives to make sure you have enough storage space to keep the clients images safe.  Delivery of images happens either in person or via Dropbox. Pay increases do happen the longer you work with us!

As an associate do we also shoot engagement sessions?

Do we have to be involved in consultations?

What does the pay look like?

YES!  We actually NEED you to run your own business as well because we want to hire you as a contractor.  We work with you to determine dates that you are available to shoot with us and work towards booking you those dates.  Ideally the more open your summer wedding availability, the more weddings we can book you to photograph for us!

If I am a Rebecca Anne Photography associate, can I still shoot my own weddings, engagements, maternity, family, newborn sessions...etc?
