We loved getting to document Caitlin and Chris’s Snohomish engagement session. I always love when couples pick locations that have significance to them or spots we rarely or have never shot at before! And Caitlin and Chris planned this whole shoot themselves. Starting out in Downtown Snohomish for some portraits with the urban brick and along the Snohomish river and then venturing off into a gorgeous field with and epic dress and hat!
How did you meet?
From the bride: “This October will be Chris and I’s seven-year anniversary together. We met at a private Christian high school and shared many of the same friends throughout our high school years. Little did I know that something would spark when I asked Chris to our Tolo dance my senior year. From that point forward, we have grown closer together as friends and eventually became each other’s, first love.
Chris asked me to marry him July 18th, 2016 at the Kirkland waterfront during sunset. Chris and I are best friends who do almost everything together because we simply enjoy each other’s company. We love to be active together, get outside and enjoy the PNW. We are both very family and friend oriented and love to spend time with others. One of our biggest connections is that we both love cars quite a bit and always enjoy a good car show. Other things we like to do are travel together (especially mini road trips) and explore new music together.”
