Hidden Meadows Wedding // Natalie & Peyton

To say I have been excited about Natalie and Peyton’s Hidden Meadows Wedding for a long time would be an understatement!  I’ve known these two for a few years now and started out taking photos of their adorable little family at Rattlesnake Lake when their daughter was just a little thing.  I eventually saw that they got engaged and secretly hoped I would hear from them, and then I did and could not have been more excited to get to document this next big event in their lives.  We wandered down to Oregon together to the Oneonta River Gorge AND Wahclella Falls for their engagement session where they jumped into the water so many times that Peyton ran out of dry clothes (now THAT is my kind of client!!).  And now their wedding day finally arrived and it could not have been more perfect.  The weather was insanely hot that day but it did not dampen the mood.  Neither did the smoke filled skies that had blown in from the wildfires and simply created some epic gold filled skies for their sunset portraits.

I simply adored Natalie’s style with her gorgeous two piece dress she mixed and matched herself, the sash with a big bow in the back and her gorgeous floral crown by Floral Mountains to top it off.  The read letters from one another just before their first look and I have to say I think Peyton had the best reaction I’ve ever seen to seeing his bride for the first time.  Formal photos followed suit with their intimate bridal party and lots of family portraits.  Their ceremony was so personal, touching and heartfelt and of course their daughter was the cutest flower girl munching on her snacks down the aisle.  The rest of the day was filled with absolutely hilarious toasts, tear filled first dances and so much great dancing!
