What a beautifully elegant day with Alondra and Erik for their Historic 1625 Tacoma Place Wedding located in Tacoma, Washington. They had a traditional Catholic Mass at Saint Patrick Catholic Church and opted to wait to see one another until Alondra was walking down the aisle. I absolutely adored Erik’s reaction to first seeing his bride. After the ceremony we were able to do all of their formal family photos and then we were off to Point Defiance Park to spend some time documenting the adorable couple together. Our timing was perfect to be able to get some beautiful Spring photos with the rose garden arch at Point Defiance park! After that it was off to go party at Historic 1625 with a delicious meal, touching toasts, cake and some epic dancing! Their day was flawless from beginning to end and it was such an honor to get to document their special day.
Historic 1625 is one of my favorite Winter Wedding Venues in Washington State! It has over 6,000 square feet of natural slate floors, warm brick walls and stunning exposed beam ceiling. There is enough space to have your entire dinner in one room and then migrate over to another space for dancing which is exactly what Alondra and Erik did! They have a max capacity of 350 guests and also have spaces for getting ready for both guys and girls. One of my favorite add on options is to have your cocktail hour in their Collector Car Showroom (a great add on for the special guy in your life!!).
