Jerry and Amanda had a stunning Inn at the Market and Yurt Village Canlis Elopement in Downtown Seattle. The day started off with getting ready photos at Beecher’s loft followed by photos all around Seattle of the bride and groom together! Beechers loft is perched above Beecher’s handmade cheese in the famous Pike Place Market. It has stunning floor to ceiling windows that provide a bird’s-eye view of Seattle’s Market, the Puget Sound and Olympic Mountains and the perfect place to elope.
We ventured to Gasworks park, their favorite dock under the aurora bridge, a quick stop to say hello to their adorable dog and photos around Pike Place Market. Then we were back to the loft to prepare for their sunset ceremony along with some family photos. They live streamed their ceremony for friends and family who could not attend and it was simply lovely and intimate. I loved the vibe of the sun setting just as their ceremony began and the blue hour light still illuminating behind them so you could see the Pike Place neon signs in the background. After the ceremony we did night photos around Pike Place Market and Kerry park before we went back to cut their cake and head to Canlis!
Canlis had a stunning Yurt Village setup and Jerry and Amanda reserved a private yurt just for their reception with their family. Canlis says it is a fine dining experience in private yurts that look a lot like Canlis was running your favorite summer camp.
