I am so excited to share Spencer and Naomi’s Rattlesnake Ridge Engagement with you today! First I have to tell a little story. One day I was up at the top of Rattlesnake Ridge shooting a gorgeous engagement session in the rain when there was a group of guys hanging out at the top. I happened to snap a photo of two of the guys smiling at me after they asked who I was and what we were doing. I hoped one of them would shoot me a note so I could send them the photo I had taken. A few weeks went by and then I got an email from Spencer telling me he had met me at the top of Rattlesnake Ridge and had shown my work to his fiancee and my style had been exactly what she was looking for! And they wanted me to do their photos at Rattlesnake Ridge as well!! And oh yeah, I got to send him the photo I took to send to his friends too.
These two are so in love and so adorable that I hardly had to do a thing in posing them! They simply laughed, smiled and interacted so lovingly the entire time it made my job a breeze. We braved the 97 degree weather (Whaaaaat!?) and hiked up the mountain after a few photos around the lake. Let’s not forget to mention that Spencer had ran something like 18 miles two days before to prep for running a marathon and they thoroughly kicked my butt up that mountain! But the hike was well worth it for the gorgeous golden light we found at the top and basically had the mountain to ourselves. Spencer brought a jacket that was his Grandfather’s to wear and Naomi’s white shirt was her Grandmother’s. How cute is that?!
Now go enjoy this adorable adventure engagement session!
