Beechers Loft Intimate Wedding // Jerry and Amanda

Where do I even begin to talk about Jerry and Amanda’s Beechers Loft Intimate Wedding in Downtown Seattle?  These two always wanted a a smaller wedding and so on their hunt to find the perfect venue to accommodate the intimate vibe they wanted to portray, they stumbled upon Beecher’s Loft.  Beecher’s Loft sits just above Beecher’s Handmade Cheese in the famous Pike Place Market which is an iconic Downtown Seattle site. It is Adjacent to the Inn at the Market and has stunning floor to ceiling views of Seattle’s Market and the Olympic Mountains.  We started off the day with some getting ready photos at the Loft with just Jerry and Amanda helping each other with their final touches. Amanda’s mom jumped in for a moment or two as well. After that they had rented a car and driver (a great idea for weddings who want to get photos at multiple iconic Seattle sites!) and we were off to roam the town for their couples portraits.  We started off at Gasworks Park for some views of the Seattle skyline and some modern vibes of Amanda in her leather jacket with the rusted buildings of the former Seattle Gas Light Company gasification plant in the background.  After that we headed to get some shots under the Fremont Bridge and then swung by their apartment for some of my favorite photos of the day…with their dog!!  Then it was back to the Loft for some family photos while the sunset and we began their ceremony just at the start of blue hour – which is the perfect time for a ceremony at Beecher’s Loft with the glow of the neon signs behind.  

Then we were off again to roam Pike Place Market for some night photos (almost got run over by a guy driving on the sidewalk!!) and hit up Kerry Park to top off the night for their couples portraits.  We met back up with their family at the loft for some cake before heading over to Canlis for their reservations for dinner at their Yurt Village!  What an amazing day and honor to get to document these special moments for this amazing couple.
