Gold Creek Pond Elopement | Erin + Josh

Gold Creek Pond Elopement | Erin + Josh

Erin and Josh had a stunning intimate Gold Creek Pond Elopement in Snoqualmie, Washington.  The morning started off with getting ready photos at Salish Lodge which overlooks Snoqualmie Falls.  Shyn of Pacific Brides hair and makeup was there to make Erin look even more beautiful (if that is possible) while friends and family hurried about getting ready and Josh put on his attire in another room.  Their first look was done on the Salish Lodge grounds before heading up the Snoqualmie Pass to Gold Creek Pond.

In the early 1980s Gold Creek Pond was a gravel pit created and used for building I-90. Since then, agencies have worked together to reclaim the area. But it is now full of willow and wildflowers, gorgeous greenery, stunning blue waters and rolling mountain views.

We made the short walk from the parking lot to the pond with their adorable yellow chairs for their ceremony and got everything set.  A few family photos were taken to get those out of the way before their intimate ceremony began.  I loved that despite it being small, they still kept traditions of the cutest flower girl and Erin’s father giving her away.

I loved every moment of love, laughter and tears during their ceremony.  Emotional vows were given. Both fathers shared special words.  And a joyous celebration of hugs and laughter were had after their final I dos.

Then we proceeded to take all of the adorable photos of Erin and Josh together by the pond and then headed back to Salish Lodge to take more photos around their property.

It was such a joy and honor to get to document their special day and I hope you enjoy this little little into it.
